At King Florist, we are dedicated to delivering your floral and gift orders in a timely manner. The time and date that your order is delivered is affected by the time and date that your order is placed, the method of delivery you select, weather conditions, and whether or not the destination is a remote location. Our delivery policies explain the delivery options available to you and how we process orders.
A signature is required for all floral, gourmet and orchid gifts. We rely on your good information and delivery windows to complete your delivery.
Same-day orders must be placed before 2PM Monday-Friday and before 1PM on Saturday. We deliver from 9AM-6:30PM. Businesses will be delivered before 5PM unless an express delivery package is requested. If your recipient is only available at select times of the day, we highly suggest choosing an express delivery option to guarantee your delivery time. Funeral deliveries will be verified with the funeral home or church and delivered accordingly.
In Store Pick Up: There is no delivery charge for arrangements that are picked up at our studio, King Florist, located at 1806 W Koenig Lane, Austin, TX 78756.
Central Delivery: All-day delivery (Between 9AM-6:30PM) is included with your order to our central zip codes.

Before Noon Delivery: We can guarantee before noon delivery for an $10.00 fee when the order is placed by 11:59 PM CST the day prior, or earlier in Local zip codes, as well as Zones 1 & 2
4 Hour Express Delivery: We can guarantee same-day delivery in 4 hours for an $10.00 fee in Local zip codes, as well as Zones 1 & 2; orders must be placed prior to 2:00 PM CST to qualify for this same-day delivery option.
3 Hour Express Delivery: We can guarantee delivery in 3 hours for a $20.00 fee in Local zip codes, as well as Zone 1; orders must be placed prior to 3:00 PM CST to qualify for this same-day delivery option.
2 Hour Express Delivery: We can guarantee delivery in 2 hours for a $30.00 fee in Local zip codes and Zone 1; orders must be placed prior to 4:00 PM CST to qualify for this same-day delivery option.
You will receive an email confirmation once your delivery has been made. Your order will be delivered within the time frame requested on the delivery date requested. If we have any difficulties with your order, we will contact you via telephone and e-mail to coordinate a solution.
RECIPIENT NOT HOME
If your recipient is not home, we will attempt to leave the delivery with a neighbor, an apartment office, or a co-worker. We will leave a note on the door of the recipient and a message on their phone. If we are unable to locate anyone to accept the order, weather-permitting, we will leave the delivery on the door step. If we are unable to locate someone to sign for the delivery and are unable to leave the flowers at the door, we will bring the order back to the store and notify you. There will be a re-delivery attempt charge of $10.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.
Cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of placing your order and prior to delivery. All cancellations and/or credit card changes are subject to a 10% credit card transaction retainer. Any cancellation requests after this period cannot be guaranteed and are subject to a 20% retainer.
Due to various seasonal and regional conditions, and the variety of unplanned issues courtesy of Mother Nature, availability of some flowers may be very limited in certain areas. Also, specific flower varieties or colors may not be available for delivery on a specified day. Therefore, it is possible that the exact bouquet pictured or requested may not be available for delivery.
In this event, the we will deliver an arrangement with similar flowers and a container of equal value and beauty. Every effort will be made to maintain size, shape, and overall color schemes of an arrangement, but there may be some variance due to designer interpretation. In single variety arrangements, variety will take preference over color. Our goal is your complete satisfaction. Every effort will be made to provide an arrangement of equal or greater value.
Deliveries to schools must be placed before 9AM to guarantee same day delivery. We do not accept deliveries to students at this time. Deliveries to faculty and staff will be delivered to the main office.
We will do our best to hand the delivery directly to the recipient and have them sign for the item, but many businesses require us to deliver to security or the reception area.
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses cannot be guaranteed. We will do our best to find a florist in the delivery area but some areas are undeliverable and we will notify you if this is the case.
SPECIAL DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS
If you input special delivery instructions, we will not be responsible for the item once the instructions are carried out. Ex: If you tell us to leave the flowers on the door step, we will not be responsible once the item is left on the step.
We will go above and beyond to deliver your flowers. We appreciate you allowing us to deliver your floral gift. We will treat it with care.
OUT OF TOWN DELIVERIES
We can often help coordinate an out of town delivery but encourage our customers to call us directly as there will be some additional fees applied to this type of custom order.
If we are working with another florist shop in the delivery area, we are unable to guarantee delivery requests for a specific time. For deliveries outside of our central delivery area, a service charge of $14.95 will be charged.
