Valentine's Day Collection from King Florist
The moment the Christmas trees have been picked up by the bulk trash truck, the stores are already lined with the reds and pinks of Valentine’s Day ephemera.
Around King Florist, we truly love love and therefore love Valentine’s Day – the day of love. We love to satisfy our customers who trust us to provide a beautiful, unique gift for their beloveds. They range from newlyweds to the newly dating to couples who have been married for years and use this day to remind each other just how much love there still is between them. Some open the door to their King Delivery with a knowing smile and a kind, "Year after year you guys make the most beautiful, unique arrangements."
Roses are the classic Valentine’s Day tribute here in Austin and the surrounding areas including Pflugerville, Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leander, and beyond. (You can see all the zip codes we service here.) And we always have a traditional arrangement of a dozen red roses for those who desire it. But our floral design team also goes far beyond traditional when we create the arrangements for this special season.
We are unveiling our Valentine Collection January 23rd, so we can’t give too much away here, but here are a few hints:
Peonies. We’ve been known to litter our arrangements with the friendly and fragrant blooms of peonies. Our favorites are the soft pink ones that add a delicate touch of innocence.
Orchids. One of our favorite accent flowers is the orchid. Exotic and unusual, they add the allure of tropical elegance.
Hydrangea. Despite her size and beauty, the hydrangea doesn’t have to take up large amounts of space in an arrangement. In fact, she’s often lovely tucked up under bolder-colored flowers.
Tulips. Prim and proper, the tulip stands tall at first, but then bows gracefully as her bloom widens. Her wide array of pinks and whites and even purple makes her a perfect element in a Valentine’s display.
Surprising Greenery. Of course the greens are important to complete the look, but we like the ones that surprise. We’re fond of such surprises as succulents and kale amongst the traditional foliage.
Vessels. All of these elements are held together in perfect harmony within a unique and noteworthy vessel. In the past we’ve done everything from glass to concrete to shimmery metallic, so you just have to wait and see what we’ve got in store for our friends this year.
When you receive your Valentine’s Floral Arrangement from King, make sure you examine it carefully. You never know what you’ll find – our design team loves to tuck in special elements of wonder to make sure each arrangement meets the high calling of being part of the King Florist Valentine’s Collection.
